Analyze market opportunities, select target segments, develop market, product and sales strategies, plan marketing tactics, and drive the implementation of marketing efforts. Measure success by long term growth in chosen segments, geographic regions, and with select target customers. Develop and deliver value propositions based on product and company capabilities via Sales and Marketing presentations, customer contacts, and in training situations.
- Develop and execute marketing and business plans that deliver measurable results versus performance metrics. Business plans could include a variety of issues including, but not limited to, new product or market development, product improvement, product quality and consistency, advertising, e-commerce / website issues, strategic partnerships, etc
- Develop and execute new product introductions with the help of business development managers, the Senior Marketing Specialist and product managers, and the sales team
- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities
- Identify customer/market needs and develop value propositions to meet those needs
- Conduct market studies, market competitive information and market share surveys and analysis as required while supporting the existing and new business objectives and strategies
- Build and lead cross functional teams to ensure business plans and projects are communicated, agreed upon, and implemented in a timely manner. Conduct profitability analysis for market segments to maximize long term sustainable profitability
- Support the sales force and distributors by providing marketing information and sales tools
- Oversee the development of marketing and promotional programs, including product brochures to stimulate demand for your range of products/services, and ensures the execution of these programs
- Coordinate activities and displays for industry shows
